Step 2. Preparing the Camera for Connection
Turn on the camera and locate the Mode Dial/Mode Button or Mode Switch on the camera body. Switch the camera to Video Mode (or Movie Mode). Then, set your preferred exposure settings.
It’s generally recommended to use Full HD with a frame rate of 30p for optimal video quality. However, you may adjust these settings based on your preferences and needs.
Step 3. Establishing the Connection between the Camera and the PC
After adjusting the camera settings, proceed to connect the two devices.
You’ll need a high-quality USB cable compatible with the PC and the Canon Camera.
